Yhis is a situation for all of you electrical wizards. I have a Super C that doesn't want to crank over. It has an original 6 volt pos ground system. The generator checks out o.k., the starter checks out o.k. and the battery checks out o.k. I have replaced the battery cable to the starter. When I pull the starter switch the engine will barely turn over. It seems like there is not enough power to turn the engine. I am learning as I go but I don't know were to go now. What should I check next? Should I replace the ground wire? (It is the original braided cable). Is the coil and ignition system somehow draining the power when the starter is on? The tractor has been rewired (by someone previous) and I don't know if it was done correctly. Previously, once the tractor was started and run for several hours, the battery would be drained, even thought the generator checked out as operating corectly. Any ideas/sugestions?
