The books show IH never made the SMTA LP. A original LP tractor SM etc.. will have the LP tank sitting crossways on the tractor with the steering rod going thru the middle of the tank. The serial no. tag will have a C code after the serial no. and the motor will have a C code after the motor serial no. stamped on the right side of the engine.
