To Guy Fay or anyone knowledgable about this, I'm looking at what I believe to be a Super M-TA LP. I been told that IH never produced any LP versions of the SMTA, but instead shipped a hundred or so to a factory in Texas and had them switched over to LP, and these were IH approved. So these few were the only true SMTA-LP ever produced. Is any of this actually true? How many were actually produced? But, most importantly how can one tell a "factory SMTA-LP" from the rest? I've seen what I've been told to be 3 different factory SMTA-LP's, and 2 are different. One of them was at Bill White's Farmall Collection Auction. This was supposed to be original, but it's different than the one I'm looking at, how can I tell the difference? Any help would be apprectiated, and if there are any questions I can describe the differences if need be. Thanks.
