I have a gas 806 that I use around my forest land much as you have in mind. I appreciate the surplus of power that it is available. The gas engine always starts easily. It does use a lot of gas. In my case, I don't use the tractor much so that is not a problem, but could be if you use it a lot for heavy work. I am wondering what the "gutless wonder" reference is based on. If anything, the gas tractor is snappier than the diesel. they are both rated around 90 hp.
