I won't normally think it is the valves either, but I worked on my neightbors Farmall B that acted the exact same way. He would go for fine for about 15 minutes and then it would sputter to death. He could keep it going by throttling back and choking. I know, sounds like gas problem. But, we changed, gas line, carb, gas cap, looked for vacuum leaks, points,plugs,condenser,coil,plug wires,gas cap, and then we gave up. So the only thing left is the engine.
