Wayne, I rewired my A and had similar problem with no charge. After an hour of testing I found that the switch cover has to be grounded. You can do this two ways: first just put the cover back on the base and reinstall the screws or put a jumper wire from the base to switch cover. Make sure the connections are good and clean. Try this and let me know if it worked. Bob
