I just totally rewired a 706 Diesel, and converted it to an altenator with a built in regulator. I got 4 out of the 5 wiring harnesses from the dealers. Once I had them the other harness was easy to build. As far as the altenator, the wiring depends if you are going to have an amp gauge or not. I think that I have a wiring diagram laying around for converting to an altenator with a gas engine. E-Mail me, and I can scan it and send it to you.
