You've gotten some good advice here, but I agree with the fellows that say that the equally low compression is odd.. Try squirting some oil down the spark plug hole one one and take another reading.
Still low? Try heavier oil, maybe 80w. Still low? Try another cylnder, same proceedure.
If you still get the low reading now I think you've got some SERIOUS valve problems... Look into rebuilding the head first...
