DJ, The sickle bar mower will cut the high weeds much easier than your belly mower, using less power, and would reach under the branches easier to get close to the trees. However, I would think you would want the weeds mulched. The sickle bar will not do this. It only cuts the weed stalk once and the cut stalks lay flat on the ground and basicly shades the ground and would not rot nearly as quickly as the weeds cut by your belly mower. You might want to make two passes with your belly mower. Make the first pass with the mower up and then the second pass with the mower lowered to the final height you want. Harold H
