Farmall H Clutch

I have an H I use for snow plowing. It needs a
clutch and pressure plate before next winter.
1. Do you have to break the tractor apart.
2. The local I.H. dealer wants $600.00 to do
it. Is this too much?
3. It is an older model H. The serial Number is
15766. Can anyone give me a year when it
was made? Thanks.
