The clutch can be replaced through the hydraulic pump opening. It is a fairly easy job, except for the fact that you are working in such a tight space.. The best way to tell you how to do the job, is to just buy an I&T manual, and also a reproduction of IH service guide.. I would also have on hand, a copy of the parts book illustration for a guide. Another thing to think about.. If the transmission leaks at the front of the transmission, you might consider replacing the gaskets and seals for the transmission drive shaft, and those for the coutershaft. If the transmission makes a little noise, it may be necessary to replace the bearings in the front bearing cage, bearing spacer, and the mainshaft pilot bearing.. you are probably looking at near $200-225 to do the clutch, bearings, and seals. Just do it yourself, so that you can do more for alot less..
