I bought an IH 240 utility late last fall and I paid $2500 here in the northeast. The tractor is bare with 3 point hitch, new rubber on 3 wheels, good on the 4th, paint fair, runs and starts excellent, has started in all kinds of weather all winter. No blue smoke, good brakes and good clutch. Need to patch hole in exhaust pipe. A lot would depend on availability and area of country, realize that Northeast is typically expensive place to buy anything. Good luck, I really am glad I bought mine. ken
