There is a little stop on your rod that hits the support when you release the rod.This keeps your implements from dropping to the ground.Lift your rod up high enuogh to get through the hole and pusn it down The stop should go through the hole and your implement go down.Sometimes I haqve to give the one on my M a little extra shove to get it down but it should go down.
