Is M a good loader tractor?

I have a IH 300U without power steering and I'm looking for another tractor I can put a front loader on. Would a M be a good tractor for this even w/o power steering or is the M just to big for a front loader? Was the M made with power steering? Can I get a M through regular 9"x8" garage door? Thank you for your time, Steve
