The #s that you see that are the same are probably part #s. Part #s are 3-5 numbers followed by 1 or more letters. The first letter is usually D. Here are some examples of part #s: 6254D, 4265DX, 633DCX, 5244DB, etc. Some part #s on later tractors will end in R1: 45263R1, 528963R1 etc. Date codes are 2 numbers then a dash then 2 more numbers then another dash, then a letter. Example 12-16-X, 11-29-M, 04-25-P etc. The first 2 are the month the 2nd 2 are the day, and the letter is the year.
