I'm restoring a 50 H ... rebuilt engine, including new pistons and sleeves, new this, new that ... you know the rest. This tractor was not running when I got it, and I've never seen what I'm going to inquire about on another H thus, this question. There is a jacketed cable, like a choke cable, that is bolted to a bracket and attached to the arm that holds the belt pully rod. It has a large knob type handle, round like a shift knob. The other end enders the 'intermediate' case, on the right side of the tractor, in front of the hydralic ports. It passes through a hole that is bored through the case. If you remove the belt pully assembly, you can look inside and see the other end attached to some sort of slide, probably a valve, that goes what looks like into the trans case. It doesn't look like a cobbled job. Any ideas what it is? Obviously, the tractor is not running yet, but as soon as I run out of old parts to replace with new, I'll have her! Thanks, Grant
