Help on loose sleeve in the Dang Ol 1951 Farmall H

Welll, the #1 sleeve wants to go up and down with the piston. I called Ken Updike at Carter and he had me keep wiping the outer sleeve wall on each upstroke until I could not see any WD40 residue. He then had me paint the outer sleeve wall with aluminum paint and stick her back down in.

Now the tricky part. When I start it tomorrow, I have to hope that the heat will bond the sleeve to the wall within an hour or so. If not, it will tear up the head gasket and I will notice water in the oil and dropped compression, etc.

Any of you have any helpful tricks with this problem??
