Gregory, The "Lift-All" was designed as a device to lift mailny cultivators. There were two skinny cylinders supplied with it that did the lifting, one on each side of the transmission. I have an M that has these two cylinders hooked to an aftermarket 3-pt. hitch. It works well lifting a blade that weighs over 500#. The pump you described mounted between the distributor and the drive for it sounds like the pump from a Super M. Many Ms were retrofitted with these pumps for live hydraulics that work with the clutch pedal depressed. Sounds like you need some hoses and a couple of cylinders and you could be ready to buy a 3-pt. hitch kit. As for starting from a dead stop in road gear, you will have to slip the clutch some just to get rolling, but if it slips with the pedal all the way out try adjusting it per your I&T manual. If it still slips, replace it. The RED and others have given you excellent advice on things that will make that job easier, though I suspect it will take longer than "a lunch break" to do. Good luck, Phil
