I have a 240 and the steering is a problem. there is a worm gear on the shaft that goes in the steering housing and a gear that the arm that the tie rods hook on. also check the keyway the the arm. I have sheared my key 3 times. I have a 240 parts book if you give me a fax number I will copy the steering pages for you
