can't tell from the I&T shop manual if yours has a thermostat or not, but if so, make sure it is the right type, heat ratings, and that it isn't in backwards, (the sensor should point toward the engine)but even if it was in backwards like happened on my Ford 600, it would eventually open and cool down. If you haven't owned the tractor long, it may have been operated for years with who knows what kind of water, and like pipes cake up on the inside, your water jackets may be packed with junk and sediment. Also, just for yuks!! it isn't low on oil is it?? - I mean, you're dead positive - right? The cooling system depends on oil level, for heat exchange with the water inside the jackets. A well tuned engine running normally, with a functional radiator and water pump/thermostat - it has to be a clogged block. Nothing else left.
