heres how i break in a rebuilt. dont run the tractor at full load for at least 10 hours. best thing to do is run her around in third or 4th gear, vary the rpm from idle to about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle for a day. try and avoid long periods of the same rpm until the rings break in. keep an eye on the oil pressure . get a couple days of running on it before you run er hard with a full throttle load.
