First I would recommend getting an operators manual. good investment. You have to hold down the clutch hard and operate the lever on ehr left side. The 2 levers on the right are for the 3 point, one is draft control and one is position. The two levers in the middle below you legs are for the hydraulic remotes. You have a 2 stage clutch pushing it down most of the way disengages the engine from the transmission, but the pto does not stop/release until you push the clutch to the floor.
