You are getting the cart way ahead of the horse. You pull the wheels when you are getting ready to paint. Then you can pull the axles and replace those leaking seals and probably damaged outer bearings.That's after you get the engine rebuilt, brakes done, cooling system done, front end done.
Locate new wheels, rims, and tires, get them painted.
Lets just hear how the exhaust pipe removal went.
