Both are still possible. Resealing a Hyd pump can be uncretain. Was there a groove in the shaft, and was the clearance checked on the end bearings (if any) I would place some on a piece of printer paper and see if it spreads fast. Then take some diesel and mix it witl your (new) oil at about 1:15 ratio and see how that spreads. One last item, is the Hydro oil disappearing? JimN
