Assuming you are talking about coolant, here is my take.
Remove the valve cover and remove the rocker arm assembly. This closes all valves.
Pressurize the cooling system with the same pressure as on the cap.
use a tiny light on a stick (smapon or other) and look into the exhaust ports. If this still does not work, use a clean rag on a stick to swab the ports to assess which cylinder's port is leaking.
If the leak is internal to the cylinder, removing the head, and magnafluxing will be the only solution. JimN
