Pull the gov housing off and be carefull not to move the gear as you can get it out of time. The input shaft can be rebuilt by machining the hole to 5/8 and pressing a brass bushing in.get a new gov spring and you will be set. Now to adjust linkage with engine off remove the clevis going to the carb. Open throttle all the way. Now hold the clevis linkage open and adjust the clevis pin goes in without moving the out-put lever on the gov and you will have good throttle response. If you need a rebuilt housing send an e-mail as i have some rebuilt and painted ready to go.
