That Pop! believes me to think your timing is advanced in turn leads to that distributor you changed out. Pull the #1 plug & stroke it to the compressed position (there numerous ways to accomplish this....pick one) then pull the cap & check the rotor. Pull & re-position the distributor with the rotor pointing to #1 then check the cap's contacts & for hair line cracks....stop...round the motor & check the point gap...ok...re-fasten the cap. Now trace & snap on the wires 1-3-4-2....Stop an open a beer take a sallow then set it down. Pull the starter switch out & hit the starter. Back purrrrrrrrrrrrrin' like a kitten. Ok...finish that beer.
