I have 2 hydraulic seats on tractors I'm restoring Although they may be more comfortable I spent many years on the curved post type. I now have arthritis and find it easier to climb on the type with the curved post and small tool box underneath.
P.S. I've been looking for one of the tube type to trade out for one that I have.
