I am confused. If behind is defined as being toward the seat of the tractor, not the radiator cap, then there are no gasketed components in the steering system behind the radiator. (unless it has some kind of non-stock power steering on it. The throttle control rod passes a center bearing with a universal joint (at the bulge in the hood) Ith has a fitting through a hole in the hood. If the gasket is "in front" of the radiator, then that is the worm and sector gear box. Tough steering can be many things, including the bottom of the bolster thrust bearing (where the front wheels mount to the casting area with four bolts. Good luck, JimN
