The 706 was not one of IH's better tractors. This model used the larger rear end from the 806 with the smaller motor from the 560 but didn't hold up like the 806 or the 560. The gas enine should depress the price as you'll burn a lot of fuel pulling tillage equipment. I personally would stay away from the 706 but you might have good luck with it for snow plowing. I will tell you narrower tires work better and the more weight you put on the back the better.
