Any good qualtiy detergent oil will work. I use straight 30 wt in one tractor and 10w-30 in the other two. If you haven't been running detergent oil then be prepared as you switch. It might be a good idea to drop the oil pan and clean the sludge out and maybe even pull the valve cover gasket and clean/rinse the top end with the pan removed. The detergent oil will break loose a lot of old sludge that has been building up for 50+ years. Otherwise you may want to change the oil and filter more frequently until the motor is cleaned up.
