Hummm.... It depends. Yeah, you can stick that stem in any which way. But when you put the wole thing back it has to be timed with the tractor. Did you mark which way the rotor was pointing? Otherwise you are going to have to start from square one. Run the enigine over til you find TDC on compression stroke for the #1 cylinder and then time from there.
