Hi Jon, we have the 3pt hitch version bought new in about 1957. I believe the model was C28 but not 100% sure. On the 3pt version the cutter bar lift arm mechanism hooked under the left 3pt hitch arm on the tractor. Don't know how it connected on 2pt as 2pt arms don't move in relation to implement. Maybe it was connected to frame of tractor.
