Chad: Asuming your numbers are correct, and the number behind the filter is the part number. You say 11;21;0 was on front of engine, but was in on the block or front cover. Eash of those castings will have a separate date code. If your date code is correct and on the actual block, you have a 1945 block with dipstick hole drilled and a water pump added. Until you get inside, who knows what else you have, it could be 3" bore or it could be 3-1/8" and I guess it could be 3-1/4 " if someone wanted to bore it in the past.
