Jason, split the tractor and replace the core plug on the left hand side, behind the flywheel. If you have a lift to pick the engine off, and some moderate mechanical skills, it's really not very hard to do. And then it will be fixed right.

I would be leary of any kind of sealer gunk dumped into the radiator because an A probably won't have a water pump and you don't want to plug up the small water passages in the block.
