Hold up,all I said was that some 400 tractors were over 40,000 + the rest is the way I understand Guy Fay listings. I know they don't add up and I don't think they have to, no one that I know of knows for sure they sold tractors with every serial # between start and end #.What I don't understand is in his data book for a F 400 he lists a total of 24,440 for 54 and 55 also 16,517 in 56. That comes to 40,957. then on the next line down it says 31,806 farmall 400 produced. Someone has listed they have F 400 41,418 gas, also F 400 LP 40,765 and F 400 D 40,720 in Red Power Mag. and I know were F 400 D 40,954 is.
