The Roller is (probably) not worn. The roller is much fatter in the middle than it is at either end. Maybe 1/4" smaller. If this is the way it looks it is fine. I would use the roller. When using a tilage tool with the tractor turning is much easier when loose. (plows not included) The effective pull point is thus infront of the rear wheels and turning becomes immediate. There is less chance of implement link/tongue/drawchains and rear wheel interaction (very dangerous). Pushing in the clutch with a 16' spiketooth drag resting on top of the rear tire is a mind adjusting event. JimN
