When I was in the first efforts to get my MD to run on Diesel, the pump was stuck with the plunger up (not pumping) your plunger operates, but is not being rotated by the rack. Either the rack is stuck, or the govrenor is stuck. Mine was varnished (old oil residue and evaporated diesel) tight. I found no problems taking the entire device apart (with a diagram and clean cloth on a workbench). Nothing was forced, and using naptha as a solvent, it sclened up and ran just fine. JimN
