steven, i just tested the thermostat when i was trying to figure why it wasnt getting hott, it opened at about 160-170, and was full open at like 180-185. Jim has mentioned, and I tend to agree with him, that the bypass port is too big, if I had known that, I would have partiially blocked it with the gasekt a made, but I'm not taking that thing off AGAIN. i MIGHT EITHER FIND SOME LOUVERS OR ACTUALLY COVER THE RADIATOR WITH CARDBOARD OR SOMETHING. oops, caps lock. Now one of these days ill get a wave file for you guys to hear to help me identify a noise that bothers me, i think its valve related, but not sure.
