Ya need a special spring compressor or a shop press and a special tool to compress the BIG spring inside and then ya can remove the clutch drum then ya can take it apart , Now the PTO brake is also spring loaded on the rear housing and can safely be removed with a couple longer bolts till the pressure is off then you are at the seal , now having the special tool for seal instulation is nice to have but you can get by with a deep well socket that fits the seal . Make sure that you drive it in correctly and put the oil slinger back in . Get a book and read the section on the PTO . Also when removing the PTO from the tractor it is best done with a cherrypicker and the top 3 pt. plate removed so you can see then as you come out you must tip the rear of the unit down so as not to bang bump the pickup tube as it can be damaged real easy.
