The intakes are set at .010", exhausts are set at .012", cold. Remove the cover on the side of the clutch housing, find the TDC timing mark on the flywheel and line it up with the pointer. There should be lash between both rocker arms and the valve stems on cylinder #1, if not, turn the engine 360 degrees. Adjust both valves on cylinder #1, turn the engine 180 degrees and adjust both valves on cylinder #3, turn the engine another 180 degrees and adjust both valves on cylinder #4, turn the engine another 180 degrees and adjust both valves on cylinder #2.
