At the Portland, Indiana show last August, there was a Farmall H that had been re-powered with a 4-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel from an early-1980s dodge pickup. It was an immaculate conversion; almost looked like it came from the factory that way. It had a the turbocharger on it. The hood was modified to be a little taller where the gauges are, allowing it to have four gauges, including the turbo pyrometer. At the urging of some of the bystanders, the young fellow started it and had it running for ten minutes or so. It was smooth, quiet and sounded as good as it looked. He said the engine was rated at about 90 hp, but is not an easy engine to find.
