Well yea keep track of the turns i would start with backing it off a 1/4 turn to start . Now since ya have all weekend try and get and I T manual for your tractor from a local farm supply store or a dealer as they all can order them , this will help ya . Just do not force it . Since i can not just run down there and fix it for ya.
