I want to know why he wants to trade. In my mind, there's a huge difference in these tractors. Still scratching my head about this and can only attribute it to personal preference. You did say that the Super M had new paint; what else has been done to it? New paint without knowing what else has gone on makes me a little wary. To me, the W4 is an interesting machine but a Super M is one of the all-time giants of the tractor world. But--I might be prejudiced-I have a 52 Super C, a 53 Super H, both restored and running, and a 54 Louisville Super M that's up in the shop with a rebuilt motor sitting on a stand waiting to go into it. But all of this is me speaking; I was raised on a Farmall M and still think the letter series Farmalls are the neatest tractors ever made.
