Just a little side note on gears. Worms, worm wheels, spur gears, helical gears, center cut, herringbone etc were being manufactured in every concievable way well before IH started using gears in their tractors ! Unless its some special type of gear that IH came up with they cant lay claim to anyone trying to reproduce those gears IMHO ! I have been in the machining trade all my life and simply put, gears are gears, thats it !
