You don't need any extra weights. I've used a five foot mower behind an H and an Allis WD. Also an eight foot wide back blade with no problem. We installed a ball valve in line with our 3 point on the H. Makes it nice with the mower to hold it at a set height. Also nice on a post hole auger to use as a flow control by only opening the valve a little bit.
