M's (as well as H's) had a "Lift-All" as an available option (AKA belly pump). They were located in the center section of the cast frame, between the clutch and the trans. As CNKS said, it worked only when it was engaged and the clutch was released. It should be easy to spot, even if it isn't being used, typically there are several pipe fittings protruding from both sides of the tractor. As CNKS said, there are some aftermarket 3-point hitch makers, such as Worksaver. Adding a hitch is a very popular modification. Search the archives for other info on hydraulics, good luck.
