I"ve gotten some good advice from you guys in the past so here"s another question. My engine oil rises and my hydraulic fluid goes down so I figure the shaft seal on the hydraulic pump is leaking fluid into the engine. Unfortunately, new pumps are pretty pricey and I can"t find a source for a rebuild kit on the original pump. I"m thinking if I can get the pump apart, I can probably match up the seal somewhere and save a bunch of money (like $5.oo vs $500.00). Has anyone ever done this on my particular engine? It is a diesel 154 inch. Thanks in advance.
