I certainly haven't priced one recently but my first gut feel is that $4000 is pretty pricey considering the condition you described. I think the utility owners are often quite proud of their machines, since the low profile is often coveted. One comparison, we sold a 560 diesel which I suspect is much more of a tractor a number of years back for $2500 and it really had nothing wrong with it all other than the normal problem these things never start when it is cold. One reason to buy the gas. I noted your earlier post you said the price was $3000. That seems closer to what I think it might be worth. I would certainly ask lots of questions and check lots of resources on pricing before I spent four grand on what you described. On the other hand, the loader does increase the value depending on it's condition.
