The 460 I looked at has 1891 hrs on it. Had a loader but was told it was a light duty loader. TA seems strong but I have to hold it back(seems as if linkage is out of adjustment. has a 2 pt, pto turns when shifted into gear. all gears are quiet when used, shifts very easy, good clutch. Hydraulic problems??!! 2 pt is very slow to lift and very slowly drops when not used. there appears to be a check valve block behind the seat with no hoses going to it. Is that a big problem? Are the tie rods easy to get new? the steering is out of tow and the tie rods have slight uneqaul bends in them along with lots of fresh pipe wrench teeth marks. gas guage does not work, and does not appear to be charging the battery. Called 20 minutes before I got there so there was no time to butter it up. had to pull start it but fired very quickly. No smoke at all Is it worth $4000.00? 70% rubber all the way around but the fronts wont last long unless the tie rods are fixed. Fenders not very good-rusting severly at the bottom. missing both name plates and one panel where the name plate goes. hood is straight it has exhaust out the top. other sheet metal has dents but ok. I want a working tractor that I can eventually call my first restore project. What are the 3 pt adapters I have all 3 pt equip. now and would like to use it all. I want to buy this tractor but will it be a money pit??? TIA
